Meet Our Pastoral Staff
Senior Pastor & Sis Troy Fair
Senior Pastor Troy Fair has a tremendous vision and calling for Calvary Evangelism Center and Sacramento. From a young age God called Senior Pastor Fair to pastor. He came to Sacramento and Calvary in 1988 to serve as youth pastor and high school teacher at Calvary Christian School. That same year he married Jennifer, and today they have four children- JT, Kati, Timothy, and Trevor.
He served in many areas of ministry throughout the years including Principal, Superintendent of Schools, Children’s Ministries, Small Groups, and many more. He concurrently served as senior pastor in Woodland, California from 1994-2003. Pastor Fair became senior pastor of Calvary Evangelism Center in 2003.
Senior Pastor Fair has also served in ministry in the United Pentecostal Church Western District as Sectional Youth Director, Christian Education Director, and as Sectional Presbyter.

Bishop & Sis Allan M Abbey
Bishop Abbey’s life has been an exciting adventure from his youth. He enjoys taking the road less traveled and facing the challenges of climbing the steep mountains, spiritual and physical. He dearly values his wife, Carol, whom he married in 1965, and his three children, Jon, Jennifer, and Joel, as well as his ten grandchildren. Bishop Abbey has stated, “I am adventurous in lots of things, not forsaking the tried and true foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.” Bishop Abbey loves God first, his family second, then the Church of the Living God. He was baptized in the lovely name of Jesus in 1952 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on Easter Sunday, 1954. His studies vary from theology and in-depth Bible study, to architecture and design. He was an award winning gymnast in high school, and continues to enjoy many outdoor sports, such as water and snow skiing, racing boats, mountain climbing, fishing, and camping. Bishop Abbey came to Sacramento when he was 28 years old. He had been on the evangelistic field, accompanied by his wife and young son, Jon, for three and one-half years, as well as holding a position of assistant pastor for six years. He began ministering at what is now called Calvary Evangelism Center with a tiny congregation. Each year, God added to the Church and Calvary has grown to be a dynamic, multicultural family, worshipping the Father in Spirit and in Truth.

Pastor & Sis Jon Abbey
“It is my ambition to show new people, young and old, the gospel of Jesus Christ and to disciple them into being Christians according to his Word,” replies Pastor Jon Abbey to the question of his Calling of God.
Pastor Jon Abbey has spent his entire life in the Church of the living God. As his parents traveled across the United States while his father evangelized, Jon slept on church pews many a night. His calling to minister to the youth of the church came when he was still a teenager. He has taught Sunday School, worked the sound booth in the sanctuary during services, knocked on doors in the neighborhood inviting people to church, greeted, ushered, and served many years as youth pastor.

Pastor & Sis Joshua Smith

Pastor & Sis R Michael Smith
His entire family: wife, Marianne, son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and QueLinda Smith with grandsons Jeriyah and Jentzen, granddaughter Joiya and daughter and son-in-law, Elisabeth and Jordan Quigley, and granddaughter, Violette and grandson, Jett, all attend and are actively involved in the ministries of Calvary.
Pastor Smith has enjoyed pastoring at Calvary since 1989. He is an ordained minister and received his Bachelor of Theology degree from Indiana Bible College in 1988. Pastor Smith heard the call to preach and minister in 1976 and is blessed to fulfill his passion at Calvary today. He loves the diversity that Sacramento affords, and thanks God that the congregation at Calvary is a clear picture of Heaven itself- in that peoples from around the world are represented here under one banner- The knowledge of the Only Lord and Savior- our God, Jesus Christ!

Pastor Ben Stone
Pastor Benjamin Stone currently serves as the director of Calvary Evangelism Center’s red-hot youth department. He received his ministerial license with the UPCI in February 2008, and joined the pastoral staff at Calvary shortly thereafter.
He has a great passion to see people dive into a relationship with God and experience what an awesome life experience you can have when you get personal with the Creator. Pastor Ben’s lifelong passion is to grow first in ministry to God, second in ministry to God’s people, and finally grow as a light in the world, pointing everyone he can to Calvary’s cross.

Pastor & Sis Jeffrey Stone
At the age of 23, with a college major in Jewish history, Pastor Stone was preparing to spend his junior year in Jerusalem studying the subject and the Hebrew language. Before going, he met a very nice young Jewish lady who was going to visit her sister in Israel. They married and went together. Their first child, Sarah, was born in Israel.
Back in Illinois, where they originated, Pastor Stone finished his senior year of college, and their second child, Adina, was born. The next move was to Pasadena, Ca., where he completed a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary, and Benjamin, their third child, was promptly born. Pastor Stone opened a Christian school for Pastor Bernard Elms in Los Angeles, which he operated for 12 years. The Stone family came to Calvary Evangelism Center in 1995 to join the pastoral staff and teach in the Christian school.
In the ensuing years, Pastor Stone has become known for his wisdom, wide smile, his interest and knowledge of science and mathematics, and his vast knowledge of the Bible. He cares deeply about other people’s needs and is willing to listen and help.
